Wales opts for the ‘Pinnacle’ of body-worn cameras
Carmarthenshire, the largest of 13 counties in Wales have chosen the ‘Pinnacle’ of body worn cameras to support local council workers.
Carmarthenshire County Council has held extraordinary events and festivals for their community to enjoy during 2017 - Wales’ Year of Legends. Concluding 2017, the local authority for the county of Carmarthenshire has opted for Pinnacle Response’s body worn solution to support their council workers.
Body-worn cameras can help to promote employee confidence, especially for lone workers, as BWV creates peace of mind and can reduce verbal and physical attacks on workers. This south-western county will utilise Pinnacle’s PR6 body worn camera and Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) to aid council staff and Enforcement Officers. Pinnacle’s PR6 body-worn camera and DEMS solution provides a camera-to-court solution to many other Welsh councils including, Caerphilly, Gwynedd and the City of Cardiff Council.
Pinnacle provide their body worn solution to a vast number of Councils throughout the whole of the UK, as local authorities are finding more and more uses for body worn video technology, where their emphasis has shifted towards staff safety and community engagement.
